Ewa's New Ride

This must be a dream come true for Ewa. He always loves to get on dad's new motorcycle. He must be dreaming about it, because I often saw him put his two hands up in the air (just like when you're riding a motorbike) while he was sleeping. Yesterday, his grandmother won a prize and guest what the prize was.

Yup, you guest it right: a tricycle. When my mother (Ewa's grandmother) fixed a watch in a shop, the owner of the shop whom she knows very well, offered her to take a door prize coupon. At first she had thought about not winning. Maybe a good fortune or just destiny, she won the tricycle, hence Ewa can ride his new bike across the room. Here are the pictures.

"Hmm this tricycle is really good, just like my father's motorbike".

"Need a little help here, run out of gas".

First Trip to the Beach

On Saturday, we went to the beach. We were very eager to see Ewa's reaction because this was his first time. This trip has been planned for a long time but due some circumstances, we only managed to go to the beach last Saturday. As you all probably know, there are several beach located in Sanur, namely: Sanur beach itself, Sindhu beach, Semawang and several others. The beach we choose was Sindhu beach, because it is located near our house and it is the cleanest beach. Here are some pictures we took at the beach.

We just arrived at the beach, and already Ewa looked really comfortable with the sand.

"Hmmmm so this is what they called 'sands'".

"I need to put on my hat, the sun is getting high".

"Let's fill this bucket with sand, I want to show it to my sister".

"Oopsss this bucket has a hole in it, I forgot that".

"There are a few people in the water. Hey look, there are boats too."

Ewa and Lia New Hobby

Maybe its a hobby but you can also suspect its genetic. Because his mom and dad like everything to be clean and neat, so Ewa help them. "Hmmm... this kitchen looks really dirty, if mom or dad see this they would be very mad. I better clean this up before they arrive".

"Now that the kitchen is cleaned, let's get this broom back to where it belongs. I am sure my mom and dad will be surprised to see how clean the kitchen is. Maybe they will take me to Timezone? Yippieee, Timezone here I come. But before we go let's see what my sister Lia is doing right now."

"She seems surprised to see me. Hmmm, why is that?".

"Oh I see, she is playing with my toys. Well if you see a face like that would you be mad at her? Of course not, you can play with it as long as you want, little sister."

"Oh that is not food, maybe she's hungry. Where is Bibi? Bibi..."

News Update

Lia is now almost five months. She can flip herself now and she can laugh if we make funny faces. Most important is if she is asleep she always wakes up when she hears her father's or mother's voice. Can you believe it? I couldn't believe it either if I've not experienced it myself. Well maybe that is called parents and daughter bond. You can never see it but it will always be there.
Here are two latest pictures of Lia and Ewa. The first is Lia with her nanny. The second is from left to right, Ayu, Lia, Papa, Adek and Ewa.

Reswa: Bali Bersalju

Did you know that there is snow in Bali?

Of course it is not the real snow. It has to be artificial snow, because as you know Indonesia lies in the equator so we only have two seasons - wet and dry. "Bali Bersalju" is the title of the show, it is located in Central Park - Kuta Galeria. To get inside you have to pay for the ticket, for children under 5 years - Rp 30.000, above 5 years - Rp 40.000, adult - Rp 50.000, but for me it is free (lucky for me, because I didn't go inside). Once you pay the ticket you can borrow jackets, but for gloves and socks you have buy it there.

Before going inside, we took a picture in front of the poster. After we put on our jackets we went through a tunnel which was really futuristic.

Brrrr.... it's really cold, so we have to put on a mask to help us breathing. Let me help you recognizing the masked traveller, from left to right: Ayu, Mom, Mbok Luh and Nararya. Dad posing with Ayu, it I hadn't known better I would think that this picture is taken abroad.

Ayu posing in front of her birth sign - Libra. Here are the rest of the pictures...

This is a special sculpture of our nation's symbol - The Garuda.

If you're interested in going there, you better hurry because the show is only until the end of the month. Here is your chance to see what snow is like (if you haven't already knew), so what are you waiting for.
