Two months have passed, it seems like I've just finished my final exams, now I have to go back and continue my study. These past two months, I've become familiar of getting up from my bed with a little cute baby beside me. Reality struck, studying is s**k (sorry for my language). Really, it's hard to go back but I realize this is for a better future. Well, I certainly hope so because that's the only reason why I am willing to leave my wife and child behind. This is for both of you...
And for my friends at IVO, will miss u guys. Thanks for the farewell party (the second time). If we have a chance maybe we can sit together and barbequeing, and have a laugh together. Adios, and may we meet again...

Old Friend
This morning when I logged on to yahoo messenger, a message window popped up. It said: "kadek_sutrisna would like to add you....." First question in my mind is who is kadek_sutrisna? That question lingered in my head for about 10-20 minutes. At last I found an answer, "Dek Dian". That's his short name, the full name is (do appologize if I wrote it wrongly) Kadek Dian Sutrisna Artha. He was my junior highschool friends. Although we were not on the same class, we made good friends because we both were in the student organization. We then went to the same senior highschool but the range of friends there were bigger than I expected, so we haven't had the time to hang around together. Last time I heard he continued his study to Indonesia University and after graduated, become a lecturer there.
This afternoon he contacted me on yahoo, we chatted a little while. He is now in Amsterdam (as in Netherlands), already finished his postgraduate study and will be going home early September. He is married and has one child. Well, I'm not surprised he is known to be a bright student and I think he still is. Success to you Dek Dian, I hope they accept your application.

Reswa: Six Months Ceremony
Hey it's Ewa again, I hope you are not bored with me, here are the pictures which I have promised you before. Before that here is a little knowledge of the ceremony. Six months ceremony in Balinese culture is performed when a baby has reached 210 days or 6 months according to Balinese calendar (1 month is equal to 35 days). As you all know, most of Balinese follow the Hindu religion. One of the most important beliefs in Hindu's religion is reincarnation. We all have lived before, we just didn't realize it and couldn't remember how it was. In the past life, we might have done something wrong that we haven't had the time to redeem it in that lifetime. This (maybe you can call it sins) will be passed on to our next life. So, six month ceremony symbolized the redemption of our sins and the blessing to have a better life than before.
This was before the ceremony, with my mom.
And this was me and my dad (so nobody would be jealous).
Praying before the ceremony.
The holy man (Pedanda in Balinese) cut my hair.
Drinking the holy water and wish for blessing.
Looking for the remains of my hair.
Leaving the scene, entering the trading zone.
Me in the cage, looking for my ring and fish.
Selling goods, anybody want to buy a cracker?
I've sold all my goods, now I want to count the result.

Intermezzo...
Office, is where you meet people, interact and co-exists in a working environment. You can meet someone you like or maybe you have to work with a person who dislike you. What can you do about it? Trying too hard to make friend with someone who obviously doesn't share the same passion as you, can be a worthless effort. Suppose that someone in the office ask you for a favour, which you know can jeopardize your position. Two choices, if you do it, you have to make sure noone knows about it (except of course both of you) and do it right (there is no point on telling you what will happen if you do it wrongly, you can figure it out by yourself). If you don't do it, you may lose a friend. Tough choices, but that's life. You learn as you journey through it, hopefully the choices you make is the correct one. And if it doesn't, you need no turning back, carry on and let the past behind you.
Another issue: if you know your friend is doing something wrong, would you remind him? "A friend in need is a friend indeed". Does that ring a bell? Your friend maybe need you to tell him what's right and what's wrong. But if you're friend is a stubborn and rock-headed person then leave him... No, I'm just kidding. Let me give you an example, suppose your friend is having an affair. He/she already has a family and child. At this point, the only victim is the child. I know how the child would feel, because I've seen someone close to me who doesn't have a family as a whole. It would make him/her depressed knowing that something is wrong with his/her family. Now get back to the root of the problem. Why would you have an affair? In my opinion, it started as a miscommunication which is not cleared up. As this miscommunication goes on, there will be dissatisfaction which in turn make up a fight. Then the outcome of this fight is an AFFAIR. I always believe marriage is a sacred thing, you can do it only once in your life with your loved one. It is not just a bunch of "I DO"s in front of a pack crowd, but it is something more than that. It consists of friendship, understanding and sacrifice. The base of friendship is understanding, you have to build an understanding with someone before you become friends. As this friendship become stronger then you will sacrifice anything for your friend (giving up your life is an exception :D). The same thing apply for marriage. The key to a healthy and successfull marriage is communication. Always communicate with your partner because he/she is the closest person to you. Well, I am a married person (maybe not long enough to give you any advice) and I want to make my marriage a long lasting one because I love my wife and son very much. I hope all of you who already have a family feel the same way. Family is number one, the rest is just an addition.
PS: ManU won 5-1, but Chelsea also won :(

First Steps In The Marathon: The Premiership
The League title race, we are habitually reminded, is a marathon, not a sprint; but there is nothing like making the first step on that nine-month-long slog a winning one. And getting off to a winning start is the ambition of all 20 Premiership managers this weekend, though some start out more in hope than expectation. Kick-off on the opening day is the one and only time in any season that all clubs start level – and the fans of every club can savour, however briefly, an unbeaten record and a dream of glory.
Hip hip hurray, football season starts today. What a happy day, prepare yourself for lots of drama and kick & rush. Rush to the nearest supermarket to buy soft drinks and some chips for today is the D-Day. Viva football....

Pippo's Birthday Present
Pippo Inzaghi gave a packed crowd at San Siro a wonderful gift as he scored his 24th goal in Champions League or his 53th in all European competitions when Milan met Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) in the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie. The goal was also special because Pippo celebrated his birthday last night.
Milan's participation in this year's Champions League was followed by so many controversies after Milan have been found guilty of match fixing scandal or known as Calciopoli, but this could not stopped the boys from getting the job done.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti had called for possession football but his players adopted an adventurous approach against the Serbian champions, with Clarence Seedorf, Alberto Gilardino, Kaká and Inzaghi all wasting good chances.Inzaghi scored on the 21st minute when Kaká found him unmarked with a superb pass, the veteran striker then slotted pass the keeper Ivan Randjelović to put Milan ahead. He could have added his tally but wasted a number of good chances. Most of the time Milan were able to put the visitors at bay outside their penalty area. Dida only had to make two saves, stopping the header from Nikola Žigić which gone straight at him and Blagoy Georgiev early on.
Red Star will need to show more enterprise in the second leg in Belgrade on 22 August, while Milan, undoubtedly the better side on the night, will hope they are not left bemoaning tonight's missed chances by the end of the tie.
Milan: Dida; Cafu (Brocchi 79), Simic, Costacurta, Serginho; Gattuso, Pirlo (Gourcuff 81), Seedorf, Kaka; Inzaghi, Gilardino (Ambrosini 72)
Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda): Randelovic; Pantic, Bisevac, Gaj, Perovic (Tutoric 66); Basta, Kovacevic, Milovanovic (Dokic 81), Blagoy; Jankovic (Krivokapic 89); Zigic

FUPEI Beta
Yesterday, Rina gave me this site: www.fupei.com
FUPEI beta is free site, a lot like Friendster. Here you can find many friends, you can just search and then add a friend, this can be done if the user set his/her setting to accept anyone. Other than that, it also offers a lot of stuffs: forums, 1 GB photo albums, shout box, etc. The main page looks like this:The dashboard:
Albums setting:
Shout box:
Almost all features that Friendster have you can find it also in Fupei. In Fupei you can even link your blog, view your Fupei's shoutbox in your blog, random testimonials, and friend's avatar. I have just used Fupei for a while, but the one thing that I like about it is its lightness maybe because the number of users is not as many as Friendster. Maybe in time when the number of users is almost the same we can see who is the true winner. If you're interested in joining click here

Reswa: Aunt Dewi
Aunt Dewi is my dad's little sister. She works in Singapore (I don't know where it is). She went home on leave two weeks ago, but now she is already back to work. Yesterday she told us that she is admitted in a postgraduate study in Germany (I think this place seems familiar to my ear, ah yes it is where World Cup 2006 was held. My dad loves to watch football, during the World Cup he even brought me along to watch the game, in front of the tv that is, but I always fell asleep. Ops back to my aunt's story). Ok, where were we? Aunt Dewi will go to Germany in October, so she has a lot of things to prepare, accommodation, paperworks, visa, not to mention telling her bos she is resigning. Well, I always knew that she would be accepted, all I can say is good luck to you aunt Dewi and may the force be with you (is this a movie or something). Just remember to come home and check at your nephew from time to time. We love you.
This is me with my grandfather, grandmother, aunt Dewi, and my two cousins (Ayu and Adek)

My stomach is full. Those leaves really taste good, now I'm ready to play.Sigh, I lost all of my clothes and my parents left me in a basket. Will somebody rescue me?God is kind enough to lend me his sun, so I won't be afraid of the dark.Hey I've found my parents or was it the other way around? Well, doesn't matter, I am very happy now. I really love my mom & dad.
PS: for you my son, the greatest gift in our life. We love you so much. For the complete album klik here

Reswa's first post
Ello, this is Reswa speaking... oopss sorry writing...
Well maybe not entirely true, I told my dad to write these words for me.
As you all probably know I am only six months old, how could I possibly posting
blogs? This blog is suppose to be my blog, but my father put a lot of football
stories. You have to forgive him for that, because he is a big fan of a game where
people running around chasing one ball and try to put it into the opponent's goal.
I don't really understand the game, but don't tell my dad because he has
explained it to me over and over again until I sleep. I suppose this is his version
of bedtime stories.
Huh, for now I just have to listen to it all, after all what can I do I am just a baby.
If you feel sorry for me please tell my dad (hahahaha I'm just kidding, I love my
dad so much). That's all for now, wait for my next post. Bye.

Ronaldinho to Milan?
According to a Spanish newspaper, Milan is ready to launch an impossible bid to sign Barcelona's star, Ronaldinho. The move would cost Milan 100 million euros. To finance this signing Milan would have to sell a star player, and right now their most valuable star is Kaka. Should Milan decided to sell him, Real Madrid would be the destination for Kaka. Capello has long been known as Kaka's admirer, and he would love to have him in the heart of Madrid's midfield. If this deal goes through Milan will get 50 million euros to their account.
Comments:
Ronaldinho probably the most popular footballer in the world today, but to exchange it with Kaka Milan would make a mistake. Kaka is a lot younger than Ronaldinho and has proven to be Milan's main protagonist for the past two seasons. Forza Kaka!

Carrick will wear Keane's 16
Michael Carrick is officially a Manchester United's player. The England midfielder also received the honour to use no 16 which was belong to Roy Keane. The 25 years old moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford in a deal worth 18,6 million pounds. This made him the 6th most expensive player who is bought by United.
Carrick will be presented to the fan on Wednesday (August 2nd, 2006) after he has passed his medical examination.
"Michael has passed his medical examination and we will held a press conference on Wednesday. I told him that he will be wearing no 16 and he is very pleased", said United's manager Sir Alex Fergusson.
"I'm hoping by using that number he will bring us the same spirit which Keane gave us. Sometimes the players can be very superstitious, but he is very enthusiast and happy receiving the costume", added Ferguson.
The midfielder who has 7 caps with England will also be included in the squad for Amsterdam tournament.
Comments:
Carrick is good, but Keane's successor? He has to prove it first. But a good buy by Sir Alex.

Bonera, a new hope for Milan's defense
Milan finally bought a defender who is still young. It is Daniele Bonera who is recruited by Milan from Ennio Tardini to San Siro. This transfer has been confirmed on Milan official website, while the presentation of the player to public will be held on Saturday (July 29th, August) afternoon local time.
Bonera (25), is signed until 2010 but the details of the transfer has not been released to public. The fee is predicted to be cheap because he only has one year left of his contract at Parma. The reason Milan recruited Bonera is because the have failed to sign Zambrotta who went to Barcelona instead.
The presence of Bonera will bring a new blood in Milan's defense which is still relying on old guards like Maldini, Costacurta and Cafu. Bonera started his career with Brescia in season 1999-2000, before moving to Parma, where he stayed for 4 seasons. The ex-under 21s international is also followed by a number of clubs like Liverpool, Juventus, Inter and Fiorentina.
Comments:
Well hope Bonera will fit in well with Milan and make that defense rock solid once again.
Forza Milan.
